It was frightening. It was disgusting. It was magnificent. Black Swan is probably the most intense film I’ve ever watched. I spent the entire 108 minutes on the edge of my seat, anticipating what was going to happen next with a mixture of horror and fascination. There wasn’t a single predictable moment, and even though my mind was constantly trying to work out what’s really happening, it didn’t become clear until after the movie was finished. After the last scene finished and the credits started rolling, I was just sitting there, staring at nothing. Shaken. I spent the entire evening thinking of it, and the more I thought about it, the more I discovered. A slow burn. It’s definitely the type of film that plays tricks with your mind.
Devastating. Beautiful. I loved it.
